Erosion of Meritocracy and Human Dignity in Modern Healthcare 🩺

The system is failing our future, and it is doing so at the cost of human lives. πŸ’”

The sheer volume of sacrifice, late nights, and mental grit required to prepare for exams like NEET is staggering. Yet, year after year, we witness the same devastating cycle: meticulous, brilliant, hardworking students giving their absolute everything, only for the integrity of the examination to be shattered by leaked papers and systemic corruption.

When the despondency of this injustice pushes vulnerable, dedicated students to end their lives, the silence from those in power is deafening.
I know firsthand the immense weight of this struggle. Clearing pre-medical exams and securing an MBBS seat after my Traumatic Brain Injury was an uphill battle even way back then and now we are losing our children to suicide because there is systemic rot. πŸ“‰πŸ©Ή

πŸ›οΈ The Dilution of Professional Standards

Today, the future of our children’s education and the standard of our healthcare system have been compromised by a dangerous intersection of wealth, cheating, and the exploitation of policy loopholes.

When individuals with immense financial privilege can bypass the crucible of hard work through leaked papers or unethical means or when systemic reservations are visibly abused by those driving flashy cars and holding luxury tech rather than reaching the marginalized communities they were intended to lift – the entire foundation of merit collapses.

We cannot systematically devalue hard work and then wonder why public trust in medical expertise is fracturing. πŸ“‰

πŸ“± A Cultural Crisis of Empathy

This is not just a policy failure; it is a cultural one, fueled by an influencer-driven generation that has fundamentally lost its compass. 🧭
The definition of a “hero” has shifted from those who endure, sacrifice, and serve, to those who capture short-term attention online.

Nowhere is this moral rot more apparent than in the casual disrespect shown toward medical fundamentals. When a medical student or aspirant can look at a cadaver – the silent, selfless anatomical donor that serves as our very first teacher in medicine and turn it into a cheap, insensitive joke for social media, we have to ask ourselves: where has basic human dignity gone? πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ§‘β€βš•οΈ

A wannabe girl shares trashy jokes about cadaver, a wannabe macho wants to look cool in the trashy show.. I pity what drives the today’s generation.

I still enjoy Sunil Grover mimicry or watching Friends or Big Bang on repeat but today’s senseless trash is what people like to consume.

🌏 A Call to Action

We are transforming a noble profession into a playground for the privileged and the unethical. If we do not begin protecting our honest students, restoring the absolute sanctity of medical entry, and teaching the upcoming generation the weight of empathy and respect, we aren’t just screwing up the system >> we are failing humanity.

What do you think?
